DISTRICT FINANCES

The mission of the Administration Division is to provide financial expertise and quality information to the Meeks Bay Fire Protection District Board of Directors, Chief Officers, employees, community members and visitors, in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles and statutory and legal requirements and policies.

Administration provides accounting and payroll services, budgeting and financial planning as well as administrative and customer service support in a prompt, courteous and cost effective manner to all internal and external customers.

The Final Budget for Fiscal Year 2016/17 was adopted during a Public Hearing at a regular meeting of the Board of Directors on September 28, 2016.
